How to set and save field configuration with ContactsManager?

A field configuration can help you define the field settings according to which you can import/export contacts with iMobileTool ContactsManager. Take Gmail CSV file for example to share step by step guide on how to set and save a Gmail CSV field configuration.
  • Step 1. Export a CSV contacts file from gmail account.
    Sign in to Gmail, and click Contacts along the side of any Gmail page.

    Click Export at the top of your Contacts list.

    Select the format in which you'd like to export your contacts' information. Here you can choose google csv format. Now click Export and choose Save to Disk, and then click OK.

  • Step 2. Set and save the Field Configuration
    Run iMobileTool ContactsManager, click File->Import->CSV File(*.csv).

    Choose the csv file just downloaded from gmail account, and then click Open.

    Now we can type a name for this configs (such as Google here we use), and set the Field Configuration.
    After completing the settings, Click File->Save.

  • Done.
    You have save the gmail csv configs. Now, you can use this configuration to import the gmail csv file contacts to your windows mobile or export the contacts from windows mobile to a csv file with the right gmail csv format.
